National Association of State Aquaculture Coordinators
NASAC
The National Association of State Aquaculture Coordinators (NASAC) is an affiliate of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA). The Coordinators are responsible for coordinating aquaculture programs at the State or territorial level. The purpose of NASAC is to promote, to encourage, and to assist the development of aquaculture in the United States by enhancing communication among Federal, State, local, and tribal governmental agencies; agricultural research and extension institutions; and trade and marketing organizations.
Thank you for visiting our website. If you are looking for information on aquaculture, the Aquaculture Network Information Center (AQUANIC) is a great place to begin. It has publications on a broad range of topics. For state-specific issues, the coordinators listed here can be your first point of contact. They are a great resource. If there is something you think NASAC should be doing on the national level, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you.
